The product is used for maintenance and repair of marine structures, for protection of reinforced concrete structures against effects of sulfate, sulfite and chlorine, and for plastering and repair of building surfaces that are exposed to abrasive salts.

It is easy to prepare and apply. It provides high adherence on concrete and plaster-applied surfaces. It gives proper working time. It does not lead to drift at vertical applications. It has high adhesion properties. It is resistant to water and frost. It is not impacted from thermal differences.

The surface should be clean, and all the residues (e.g. grease, dirt, corrosion) that will prevent adhesion on the surface should be cleaned. The surface to be repaired should be saturated with water several hours in advance. No free water should remain on the surface during application. 25 kg of EKOKAT REPAIR SO4 mortar is slowly poured into 5-5.5 liters (20- 22%) of clean water and is then mixed with a low speed (400-600 rpm) mixer or a trowel until a homogenous mixture is obtained. The mortar is allowed to rest for 5 minutes and mixed again for 1 to 2 minutes once before application. The mortar should be used in thirty minutes. The mortar should not be used if its usage time has expired and it has been scabbed. The mortar should be applied at the specified application temperature, and protected from direct sun, wind and frost. The mortar is applied with a trowel with a thickness of 1-5 mm. After the mortar loses its water content, water is sprinkled on it and the desired surface is obtained with a steel and wooden trowel. It must be protected from evaporation with special curing materials or wet sacks for 24 to 48 hours after application.

25 kg PE reinforced craft bags.
64 shrink bags on one palette (110x110 cm).

No more than two palettes should be placed on top of each other in their unopened original packaging, in a cool and dry environment. Shelf life is 12 months from date of production under suitable storage conditions.

Work clothes, protective gloves, goggles, and masks suitable for workers health and safety should be used during the application. Due to irritant effects of uncured material, it should be washed with plenty of water and soap immediately in case of contact with skin and eyes. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately. No food and drink should be brought into application areas. Store it out of reach of children. Please refer to the safety data sheet for further information.
