AREAS OF USE

The product is used as an additive for achieving water impregnability of concrete at drinking water reservoirs, swimming pools, dams, foundation curtain concretes, retaining walls, and water channels. It is used as an adherence enhancing material in mortar for performance of repair works of fine and rough plasters at interior and exterior spaces.

BENEFITS

It provides water impermeability and adherence properties. It reduces segregation. It reduces shrinkage cracks. It provides resistance to frost-thaw cycle. It reduces water passage ways in capillary cracks. It provides excellent performance even in concrete classes where cement dosage is low.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

After addition of 50% to 70% of water into the homogeneously prepared dry mixture of concrete and mortar, EKOKAT CONCRETE ADD - WP should be added into the mixture with the remaining quantity of water. Depending upon the desired concrete performance, it is recommended to use the product at the ratio of of 0.5-1.5 kg for 100 kg binder (e.g. cement, silica, fly ash, slag)

WARNING
*  When all additives are to be used together, they should not be mixed with each other. They should be used together with the mixture water.
*  Concrete additives should not be added directly on the dry mixture.
*  The quantity to be used is determined based on laboratory tests to be done in advance based on the concrete class and properties.
